Google made a search for 50 percent more efficient through technology “Caffeine”

Search engine Google introduced a new system for indexing[t:tag slug=indeks]indexing Web sites under the name Caffeine (”Caffeine”). As reported in the blog Google, the new index makes the search results more relevant by 50 per cent compared with the previous version.

Caffeine will have the greatest amount of Internet content among all systems of indexing, search engine used previously. Here, as promised Google, index update will happen sooner than later. Thus, users can quickly find links to new sites in the SERP.

In the blog entries explained that the previous version of the index consisted of several layers, which are updated at different intervals. Thus, the main layer updated on average once every two weeks. The new index will review websites on a regular basis in small fragments.

It is noted that the total database Caffeine exceeds 100 million gigabytes (100 petabytes). At the same time every day in the index is added to hundreds of thousands of gigabytes of new data.
